Import, Export and Customs Documentation Support

Trade documentation prepared and checked before cargo moves, with customs clearance carried out by licensed customs brokers.

Container stacks at a port, illustrative.

Cross-border shipments are frequently held because of documentation: invoice values that do not match the packing list, missing certificates of origin or conformity, inconsistent descriptions, or permits that were not requested in time.

Inquina coordinates the documentary requirements between the supplier, consignee and transport providers. Commercial invoices and packing lists are checked for consistency, supporting certificates are collected, documents are prepared for the customs broker, and shipment records are kept in a controlled file.

Customs declarations, duty and tax calculations and other regulated activities are carried out by licensed customs brokers or the relevant authorities. Inquina does not provide customs brokerage or tax advice and cannot guarantee clearance times, which remain subject to the authorities.

  • Shipments held for inconsistent or missing documents
  • Certificates requested only after cargo has arrived
  • Several suppliers producing documents in different formats
  • No central record of shipment documents for audit

What documentation support aims to achieve

Consistent documents

Errors found before dispatch rather than at the border.

Fewer avoidable holds

Required certificates identified early in the plan.

Auditable records

A complete document file for each shipment.

Customs clearance, regulated declarations and tax advice are performed only by appropriately authorised parties. Clearance outcomes and times are decided by the authorities and cannot be guaranteed.
