Technical Logistics

Construction, Infrastructure and Project Logistics Support

Logistics built around construction sequencing, so that each work package has its materials and equipment when it is ready to start.

Steel frame construction, illustrative.

On construction and infrastructure projects, materials arrive from many suppliers into limited laydown space, while work fronts open and close to a tight sequence. Logistics has to follow the construction plan, not the order in which suppliers happen to deliver.

Inquina integrates logistics with engineering and procurement schedules and with construction work packages: planning material call-offs, coordinating contractors and suppliers, arranging site receiving and storage, confirming equipment and materials readiness for installation, commissioning and maintenance, and compiling logistics records for project closeout.

This service draws directly on Inquina’s construction management, QA/QC and hand-over documentation approach, so that materials records, certificates and reconciliations form part of the project dossier.

How this service is delivered

Delivered by Inquina

  • Logistics planning and coordination within the project team
  • Call-off planning, readiness tracking and reconciliation
  • Logistics documentation for closeout

Arranged through specialist partners

  • Transport and lifting by licensed contractors
  • Storage by the site or a selected operator
