What the service covers

Engineering services

Technical services from engineering consultancy through specialist engineering, commissioning and decommissioning, deployed through a collaborative environment and a technical performance-management system.

Procurement and supply chain

Procurement extends beyond the supply of materials to the integrity and performance of the whole supply chain. Suppliers are expected to meet QHSE and environmental standards and to share the company's code of business conduct.

Construction management

Project management, construction techniques, subcontractor management, health and safety, and quality assurance and control (QA/QC) across Nigeria and West Africa.

Commissioning and decommissioning

Commissioning is planned and documented so that systems are proven against their design and specification before hand-over. Decommissioning is delivered with the same controls over safety, quality and records.

Project-evidenced work beyond inspection

  • Power distribution and street lighting
  • Pump-control panels
  • Security-systems installation
  • Cathodic protection installation

How projects are controlled

  1. Planning

Work scopes, sequences and resources agreed before mobilisation and reviewed as site conditions change.

  2. Supplier coordination

Orders, deliveries and supplier performance managed against project requirements and the company's code of business conduct.

  3. Technical control

Design, fabrication and installation checked against the applicable code, standard or client specification.

  4. HSEQ

Risk assessment, permits to work and supervision planned in, with quality hold points defined for critical activities.

  5. QA/QC

Inspection and test plans, verification and non-conformance close-out completed before work moves to the next stage.

  6. Hand-over

A structured dossier of records, certificates and as-built information compiled at completion.

Technical control on every scope

Planning and supplier coordination

Scope, schedule and supply-chain commitments are planned up front and tracked through the project, so that materials, subcontractors and technical information arrive when the work needs them.

HSEQ and QA/QC

Safety, quality and environmental requirements are built into the plan from the start, with inspection and test points and controlled records supporting each stage of execution.

Frequently asked questions

Can engineering and fire and security scopes be combined?

Yes. The two service areas can be contracted separately or combined into one coordinated scope, with one accountable point of contact, one approach to document control and consistent HSEQ expectations.

Does every contract include every stage?

No. Stages are applied as the contract requires; not every contract includes every stage.
